2D Laser Scanning
Use the Virtek scanner for 2D Inspection, Gasket Inspection, Quality Control Inspection, First Article Inspection, Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Reverse Engineering of 2D materials. Inspect parts right on the shop floor, in the flat, before value is added to the part
~ Most typical parts can be scanned, under 1220mm (48″).
~ Can measure any flat, opaque part. Suitable materials include most metals, plastics, paper products, composite materials, rubber, cork, vinyl, felt, leather and fabrics.
~ Scan parts up to 200mm (8″ inch) thick, with a weight of up to 90kg (200lbs).
~ Scans parts up to 1220mm x 1220mm (48″ x 48″) in a single scan. Using a simple and fast multiple scanning process the system can ‘merge’ parts of infinite length and up to twice the width of the 1220mm x 1220mm (48” x 48”) scan table.
